This Return, Refund & Replacement Policy (“Policy”) governs purchases made through https://www.erji.in (“Website”) operated by ERJI, a brand operated under BABEL COMPANY (“ERJI”, “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By placing an order on this Website, the customer (“User”, “Buyer”, “Customer”, “you”) agrees to this Policy along with our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, Privacy Policy, and other applicable policies.

ERJI reserves the absolute right to interpret, modify, approve, reject, or update this Policy at its sole discretion without prior notice.


1. GENERAL POLICY STATEMENT

ERJI aims to deliver quality products and reliable customer service. However, due to the nature of electronic accessories and hygiene-sensitive packaged products, returns and refunds are accepted only under limited and verified circumstances.

All claims are subject to:

  • Product inspection

  • Supporting evidence

  • Compliance with this Policy

Approval of any return, refund, replacement, or claim shall remain solely at the discretion of ERJI.


2. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURN OR REPLACEMENT

A return or replacement request may only be considered under the following situations:

  • Product received is physically damaged during transit

  • Incorrect product was delivered

  • Product received is defective upon delivery

  • Product received is materially different from the order placed

  • Product package was tampered with before delivery

To qualify:

  • The request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery

  • The product must remain unused and in original condition

  • Original packaging, tags, manuals, accessories, and invoice must be retained

  • Customers must provide valid proof including images/videos if requested

ERJI reserves the right to reject claims lacking sufficient evidence.


3. STRICT UNBOXING VIDEO REQUIREMENT

Customers are strongly advised to record a clear, continuous, and uninterrupted unboxing video while opening the package.

The video should clearly capture:

  • Sealed outer packaging

  • Shipping label and AWB details

  • Opening process from start to finish

  • Product condition

  • Included accessories and contents

Claims relating to:

  • Missing items

  • Wrong products

  • Empty packages

  • Transit damage

  • Defective products

may be automatically rejected if proper unboxing proof is unavailable.

Edited, unclear, interrupted, or manipulated videos shall not be considered valid evidence.


4. NON-RETURNABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following shall not be eligible for return, replacement, or refund:

  • Products used after delivery

  • Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, mishandling, or improper installation

  • Products with physical damage caused after delivery

  • Products exposed to water, moisture, heat, liquid, burns, or electrical fluctuations

  • Products returned without original packaging or accessories

  • Clearance sale items

  • Promotional or discounted products unless received defective

  • Compatibility-related issues not specifically guaranteed by ERJI

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Customer preference-based returns including:

    • Change of mind

    • Color preference

    • Personal dislike

    • Accidental ordering

    • Wrong model selected by customer

ERJI reserves the exclusive right to determine product condition and eligibility after inspection.

6. VERIFICATION & INVESTIGATION RIGHTS

ERJI reserves the right to:

  • Investigate all claims independently

  • Verify customer history

  • Conduct packaging weight verification

  • Review warehouse dispatch records

  • Validate courier delivery proof

  • Request additional documents or evidence

Claims suspected to involve:

  • Fraud

  • Abuse

  • Manipulated evidence

  • Repeated refund behavior

  • Intentional product damage

may be rejected without liability.

ERJI further reserves the right to:

  • Restrict customer accounts

  • Block future orders

  • Initiate legal proceedings where applicable


7. RETURN SHIPPING CONDITIONS

If a return request is approved:

  • ERJI may arrange reverse pickup where serviceable
    OR

  • Customers may be required to self-ship the product to the designated address

Customers are responsible for:

  • Secure return packaging

  • Including all original contents

  • Properly sealing the package

ERJI shall not be liable for:

  • Transit damage during return shipment

  • Lost return packages

  • Delays caused by courier partners

Returns received in damaged, incomplete, altered, or used condition may be rejected.


8. REFUND POLICY

Refunds shall only be initiated after:

  • Product receipt by ERJI

  • Physical inspection and testing

  • Successful verification and approval

Approved refunds are generally processed within:

  • 5–10 business days for prepaid orders

Actual credit timelines depend on:

  • Banks

Refunds may be denied if:

9. REPLACEMENT POLICY

10. ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Customer-Initiated Cancellation

Orders may only be cancelled before dispatch confirmation.

Once shipped:

  • Cancellation requests may not be accepted

  • Shipping and operational costs may be deducted

ERJI-Initiated Cancellation

ERJI reserves the right to cancel orders due to:

  • Bulk/reseller activity

Refunds, where applicable, shall be processed according to internal timelines.


11. DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED CLAIMS

If shipment tracking reflects “Delivered” but the customer claims non-receipt:

  • The issue must be reported within 48 hours

  • Customers must cooperate in courier investigations

  • Proof of delivery from logistics partners may be treated as final evidence

ERJI shall not be liable where:

  • Delivery was completed at the provided address

  • Package was accepted by security/reception/family members

  • Incorrect delivery details were provided by the customer

Claims raised after 48 hours may not be accepted.


12. WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

Unless expressly stated on the product page:

  • Products may not carry manufacturer warranty

  • Warranty duration and coverage may vary product-wise

Warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage

  • Water/liquid damage

  • Electrical burns

  • Power surge damage

  • Unauthorized repairs

  • Customer negligence

  • Cosmetic wear and tear

ERJI reserves the right to determine warranty applicability.


13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, ERJI, BABEL COMPANY, affiliates, employees, logistics partners, and service providers shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect losses

  • Consequential damages

  • Loss of profits or revenue

  • Device damage caused by misuse

  • Delivery delays

  • Technical incompatibility

  • Third-party courier failures

  • Data loss

  • Business interruption

Maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed the purchase amount paid for the affected product.


14. FRAUD & POLICY ABUSE PROTECTION

ERJI actively monitors fraudulent or abusive behavior.

The Company reserves the right to:

  • Reject suspicious claims

  • Restrict repeat return users

  • Deny future purchases

  • Share information with law enforcement authorities where legally required

Fraudulent activities may include:

  • False damage claims

  • Empty box fraud

  • Chargeback abuse

  • Fake delivery disputes

  • Manipulated evidence submissions

Legal proceedings may be initiated where necessary.


15. FORCE MAJEURE

ERJI shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by:

  • Power outages

Operational obligations affected by such events shall remain suspended during the affected period.

Any disputes arising from purchases, returns, refunds, or Website usage shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of competent courts located in:
